who: nick carraway is Daisy Buchanan’s cousin. nick bought Gatsby and daisy back together. where:  from Minnesota then moved to new york when: what:

  • “When I came back from the East last autumn I felt that I wanted the world to be in uniform and at a sort of moral attention forever; I wanted no more riotous excursions with privileged glimpses into the human heart. “ – Chapter One

he wants this world and everyone’s morals to be the same and on the same page. this tells us how the whole summer had an effect on him that it leaves him with PTT

this tells how much nick is a push over and just lets people play games with him and move him around.

this tells us that he spends a lot of time working and he enjoys working. he learnt everyone’s name this shows that he is a friendly guy. he is a passive person, doesn’t like to cause conflix or upset people

he thinks of himeself so highly. he better then everyone eles

  • “They’re a rotten crowd…You’re worth the whole damn bunch put together!’ I’ve always been glad I said that. It was the only compliment I ever gave him because I disapproved of him from beginning to end.”- Chapter Eight

nick is a walking conduction, not always lives with his word about not judging.

he feels that he is mature and the others arent
